At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific
Appropriation 1616, INSERT:
From the funds in Specific Appropriations 1616 and 1617, Florida Housing
Finance Corporation shall give preference to military personnel
including active duty, reserves, National Guard, Coast Guard, Coast
Guard reserves, and personnel honorably discharged who have their home
of record as Florida, and were deployed as part of the Global War on
Terrorism in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring
Freedom, or any future combat operation. Combat service shall be
verified through the submission of the DD-214 form by the veteran, or
other documentation provided by the Florida Department of Military
Affairs.
