Senate Resolution

A resolution expressing appreciation to Frank M. Ryll,

3

Jr., for his leadership and service to the state and the

4

business community of Florida.

     WHEREAS, Mr.Ryll, a long-time community and business leader

7

in Florida, has a distinguished record of rendering valuable

8

services to the people of Florida, and

9

     WHEREAS, he has given generously of his time, talents, and

10

expertise to bring Florida's business community to new levels of

11

influence and effectiveness, and

12

     WHEREAS, Frank Ryll, Jr., has played an important personal

13

role in the governance of Florida's business community through

14

his exemplary service for 25 years as president of the Florida

15

Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Chamber of Commerce

16

Foundation, and

17

     WHEREAS, he ushered in an era of action in protecting

18

Florida businesses and Florida's economy which will improve

19

Florida for generations to come, and

20

     WHEREAS, Mr. Ryll engaged other leaders in assuring economic

21

well-being for the state and brought forth research and

22

recommendations that resulted in fundamental and lasting changes

23

to our education system, economic development, and international

24

initiatives, and

25

     WHEREAS, over a period of many years, Frank Ryll, Jr., has

26

shown himself to be committed to the advancement of education,

27

economic development, and leadership in Florida, NOW, THEREFORE,

28

Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

     That the Senate commends and expresses sincere gratitude to

32

Frank Ryll, Jr., for his dedicated, effective, and untiring

33

public service, which have made a significant difference in the

34

lives of countless Floridians.

35

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution, with

36

the Seal of the Senate affixed, be presented to Frank Ryll, Jr.,

37

as a tangible token of the sentiments of the Florida Senate.
