The Special Master on Claim Bills recommended the following

     Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

     Delete line(s) 65-73

and insert:

     Section 2. The sum of $3 million is appropriated from the

8

General Revenue Fund to the Department of Agriculture and

9

Consumer Services for the relief of Laura Laporte for injuries

10

and damages sustained due to the negligence of an employee of

11

the department.

     Section 3. The Chief Financial Officer is directed to draw

13

a warrant in favor of Laura Laporte in the sum of $3 million

14

upon funds of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer

15

Services and to pay the same out of funds in the State Treasury.
