| 4 | Remove lines 119-124 and insert: |
| 5 | (b) No public or private employer, or the employees |
| 6 | thereof, shall be liable for any harm that arises out of or |
| 7 | results from, directly or indirectly, the discharge or |
| 8 | threatened use of a firearm that was transported, stored, |
| 9 | possessed, or used by a person in a motor vehicle on property |
| 10 | owned or leased by the public or private entity. The immunity |
| 11 | provided in this paragraph shall not apply to any person who |
| 12 | discharges or threatens to use the firearm, but it shall extend |
| 13 | to the vicarious liability of a public or private entity for the |
| 14 | actions of an employee. Nothing in this section shall be |
| 15 | construed to create a new duty on the part of the public or |
| 16 | private employer. |
