     Section 18.  Subsection (1) of section 373.019, Florida

Statutes, is amended to read:

     373.019  Definitions.--When appearing in this chapter or in

9

any rule, regulation, or order adopted pursuant thereto, the

10

term:

     (1)  "Alternative water supplies" means salt water; brackish

12

surface and groundwater; surface water, fresh or brackish, only

13

when captured predominately during wet-weather flows; sources

14

made available through the addition of new storage capacity for

15

surface or groundwater, water that has been reclaimed after one

16

or more public supply, municipal, industrial, commercial, or

17

agricultural uses; the downstream augmentation of water bodies

18

with reclaimed water; stormwater; and any other water supply

19

source not inconsistent with these sources that is designated as

20

nontraditional for a water supply planning region in the

21

applicable regional water supply plan.
