     Section 3.  Subsection (13) of section 553.36, Florida

9

Statutes, is amended to read:

     553.36  Definitions.--The definitions contained in this

11

section govern the construction of this part unless the context

12

otherwise requires.

     (13)  "Manufactured building" means a closed structure,

14

building assembly, or system of subassemblies, which may include

15

structural, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, or other

16

service systems manufactured in manufacturing facilities for

17

installation or erection as a finished building or as part of a

18

finished building, which shall include, but not be limited to,

19

residential, commercial, institutional, storage, and industrial

20

structures. The term includes modular and factory-built

21

buildings and buildings not intended for human habitation such

22

as lawn storage buildings and storage sheds manufactured and

23

assembled offsite by a manufacturer certified in conformance

24

with this part. This part does not apply to mobile homes.
