| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |
|
| 10 | Section 1. Paragraphs (k) and (l) of subsection (7) of |
| 11 | section 163.3177, Florida Statutes, are redesignated as |
| 12 | paragraphs (l) and (m), respectively, and a new paragraph (k) is |
| 13 | added to that subsection to read: |
| 14 | 163.3177 Required and optional elements of comprehensive |
| 15 | plan; studies and surveys.-- |
| 16 | (7) The comprehensive plan may include the following |
| 17 | additional elements, or portions or phases thereof: |
| 18 | (k) A locally developed affordable senior housing element |
| 19 | setting out plans and programs with supporting infrastructure |
| 20 | and public facilities. |
| 21 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2008. |
