Senator Margolis moved the following amendment:

     Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

     Between lines 25 and 26,

insert:

     Section 2. Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 74-400,

7

Laws of Florida, public funds may be used for the alteration of

8

Old Cutler Road, between Southwest 136th Street and Southwest

9

184th Street, in the village of Palmetto Bay. Such alteration may

10

include the installation of sidewalks, curbing, and landscaping

11

for the purpose of enhancing pedestrian access to the road.

12

Before such alteration commences, the Department of State must be

13

consulted and its official approval obtained.

     On line 5, after the semicolon,

insert:
