and insert:

     (a) If the court appoints the attorney, he or she must have

8

completed a minimum of 8 hours of education in guardianship. The

9

court may waive this requirement for an attorney who has served

10

as a court-appointed attorney in guardian advocate proceedings or

11

as an attorney of record for guardian advocates for at least 3

12

years.
