| 8 | the peril of wind.--Property insurance covering the peril of |
| 9 | wind shall be obtained and maintained by public housing |
| 10 | authorities owning or operating any affordable housing that is |
| 11 | located in areas eligible for coverage in the Florida Windstorm |
| 12 | Underwriting Association, as those areas were defined on January |
| 13 | 1, 2002, or located in the area within Port Canaveral, which is |
| 14 | bordered on the south by the City of Cape Canaveral, bordered on |
| 15 | the west by the Banana River, and bordered on the north by |
| 16 | Federal Government property, for any property owned or operated |
| 17 | in these areas by the public housing authority. |
