EXPLANATION:
This amendment allows the Department of Corrections
to utilize $11 million of funds appropriated in FY
2007-08 for specific fixed capital outlay projects
for quick construction fixed capital outlay
alternatives.
NET IMPACT ON: Total Funds General Revenue Trust Funds Recurring - 0 0 0 Non-Recurring - 0 0 0 ______________________________________________________________________________________ Positions & Amounts Positions & Amounts DELETE INSERT In Section On Page 000 DELETE the third full paragraph on page 32. SECTION 9. From the funds in Specific Appropriation 821 of chapter 2007-72, Laws of Florida, $8,000,000 in unencumbered fixed capital outlay funds shall revert immediately and is appropriated for the 2007-08 fiscal year to the Department of Corrections in a fixed capital outlay appropriation category to purchase quick construction open bay dormitory structures to house approximately 1,000 minimum custody inmates. INSERT the following paragraph: SECTION 9. From the funds in Specific Appropriation 821 of chapter 2007-72, Laws of Florida, $11,000,000 in unencumbered fixed capital outlay funds shall revert immediately and is appropriated for the 2007-08 fiscal year to the Department of Corrections in a fixed capital outlay appropriation category to purchase quick construction open bay dormitory structures to house approximately 1,000 minimum custody inmates.
