EXPLANATION:
Reverts unexpended funds provided in chapter
2006-25, Laws of Florida, to the Department of
Environmental Protection for land acquisition to
mitigate flowage concerns from the Biscayne Bay and
C-111 projects. Appropriates funds to the
Department of Environmental Protection for the Miami
River Dredging Project and the C-111 Spreader Canal
Project.
NET IMPACT ON: Total Funds General Revenue Trust Funds Recurring - 0 0 0 Non-Recurring - 0 0 0 ______________________________________________________________________________________ Positions & Amounts Positions & Amounts DELETE INSERT In Section 33 On Page 117 On Page 117, INSERT new section 33 and redesignate subsequent sections: SECTION 33. The sum of $15,000,000 from unexpended funds in Specific Appropriation 1702 of chapter 2006-25, Laws of Florida, provided to the Department of Environmental Protection to acquire land to mitigate flowage concerns from the Biscayne Bay and C-111 projects shall revert immediately and is appropriated for the 2008-2009 fiscal year to the Department of Environmental Protection for the Miami River Dredging Project and the design and construction of Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan C-111 Spreader Canal Project upon approval pursuant to section 373.026(8)(b), Florida Statutes.
