and insert:

     (b)1. Upon receipt of the tentative budgets and

7

completion of any revisions made by the board, the board shall

8

prepare a statement summarizing all of the adopted tentative

9

budgets. This summary statement shall show, for each budget and

10

the total of all budgets, the proposed tax millages, the

11

balances, the reserves, and the total of each major

12

classification of receipts and expenditures, classified according

13

to the classification of accounts prescribed by the appropriate

14

state agency. The county shall make the summary statement

15

available to county residents by filing the statement with the

16

clerk of the circuit court and posting the statement prominently

17

online if the county has a website. The board shall cause this

18

summary statement to be advertised one time in a newspaper of

19

general circulation published in the county, or by posting with

20

the clerk of the circuit court at the courthouse door if there is

21

no such newspaper, and the advertisement shall appear adjacent to

22

the advertisement required pursuant to s. 200.065.

     2. Beginning with the 2018-2019 fiscal year, counties that

24

have received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in

25

financial reporting from the Government Finance Officers

26

Association shall make the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

27

available to county residents by filing the report with the clerk

28

of the circuit court and posting the report prominently online if

29

the county has a website.
