12 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

14 | Section 1. Subsection (3) is added to section 490.005, |
15 | Florida Statutes, to read: |
16 | 490.005 Licensure by examination.-- |
17 | (3)(a) The board shall close the application file of any |
18 | applicant who fails to pass the psychology licensure examination |
19 | and the laws and rules examination, or fails to submit evidence |
20 | of completion of the postdoctoral supervised experience, within |
21 | a timeframe specified by the board in rule. |
22 | (b) An individual who completes the required postdoctoral |
23 | training residency may continue to practice under supervision in |
24 | a manner prescribed by the board by rule provided he or she has |
25 | a current application on file and no final order of denial has |
26 | been issued. |
27 | Section 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2009. |
