| 6 | PROPERTY TAX LIMIT.--Proposing an amendment to the State |
| 7 | Constitution to limit total property taxes collected on any |
| 8 | parcel of real property to 1.35 percent of the highest taxable |
| 9 | value of the property, exempt from the limitation property taxes |
| 10 | levied for the payment of bonds and taxes imposed for a period |
| 11 | of 2 years or less when approved by the voters, and require the |
| 12 | Legislature to provide for distribution of property tax revenues |
| 13 | derived from parcels for which the total amount of property |
| 14 | taxes levied exceeds 1.35 percent of the highest taxable value |
| 15 | of the property. |
