1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to the Fort Myers Beach Fire Control
3	District, Lee County; amending chapter 2000-422, Laws of
4	Florida; amending the boundaries of the district;
5	providing an effective date.

7	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

9	Section 1.  Section 1 of section 3 of chapter 2000-422,
10	Laws of Florida, is amended to read:
11	Section 1.  Creation.--The geographic boundaries of the
12	Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District shall include the
13	following described lands:
14
15	All that part of Lee County that is located and
16	situated within San Carlos Island; Estero Island;
17	Easterly One-Half ( 1/2) of Section 13, Township 46
18	South, Range 23 East; Section 18, Township 46 South,
19	Range 24 East; and section 7, Township 46 South, Range
20	24 East except that part which is located and situated
21	north of the old railroad grade; and that part of
22	Black Island, Inner Key, Lover's Key, and Long Key,
23	north of the northern boundary line of Sections 13 and
24	14, Township 47 South, Range 24 East.

26	Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
