    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Internal Improvement Trust
    3         Fund; amending s. 253.01, F.S.; deleting obsolete
    4         provisions governing the distribution of funds for the
    5         drinking water facility construction state revolving
    6         loan program; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9         
   10         Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 253.01, Florida
   11  Statutes, is amended to read:
   12         253.01 Internal Improvement Trust Fund established.—
   13         (3) In addition to the uses allowed in subsection (2) for
   14  the 2008-2009 fiscal year, moneys in the Internal Improvement
   15  Trust Fund are authorized for grants and aids to local
   16  governments for the drinking water facility construction state
   17  revolving loan program, as provided in the General
   18  Appropriations Act. This subsection expires July 1, 2009.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
