       The Committee on General Government Appropriations (Aronberg)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 10 and 11
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Notwithstanding the repeal by this act of s.
    6  255,043, Florida Statutes, effective April 1, 2011, s. 255.043,
    7  Florida Statutes, is reenacted, and the text of that section
    8  shall revert to that in existence on June 30, 2009, except that
    9  any amendments to such text enacted other than by this act shall
   10  be preserved and continue to operate. In the interim, no
   11  expenditures for public art under that section shall occur
   12  without prior legislative approval.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 6
   17  and insert:
   18  providing for the future reenactment of s. 255.043, F.S., and
   19  the reversion of the statutory text to that in effect before the
   20  repeal; prohibiting expenditures for public art during the
   21  interim without prior legislative approval; providing an
   22  effective date.
