Florida Senate - 2009 SB 1116 By Senator Richter 37-01083-09 20091116__ 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to consensus estimating conferences; 3 amending s. 216.137, F.S.; requiring principals and 4 participants of consensus estimating conferences to 5 consider the costs and benefits of changes in special 6 impact analyses; providing an effective date. 7 8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9 10 Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 11 216.137, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 12 216.137 Sessions of consensus estimating conferences; 13 workpapers.— 14 (1) SESSIONS.—A session of a consensus estimating 15 conference may be convened as follows: 16 (d) To consider special impacts.—After adequate notice, any 17 principal may call a special impact session of the conference to 18 develop official information which reflects specific changes or 19 proposed changes relating to the area of responsibility of the 20 conference. When undertaking a special impact analysis, 21 principals and participants shall consider both the costs and 22 benefits of the specific changes or proposed changes under 23 review. 24 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
