The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Rich)
recommended the following:

3 Delete lines 581 - 595
4 and insert:
5 notification, the receiving school district must review the
6 student’s individual educational plan (IEP) to determine if the
7 student’s IEP can be implemented by the receiving school
8 district or by a provider or facility under contract with the
9 receiving school district. The receiving school district shall:
10 1. Provide educational instruction to the student;
11 2. Contract with another provider or facility to provide
12 the educational instruction;
13 3. Contract with the private residential care facility in
14 which the student resides to provide the educational
15 instruction; or
16 4. Decline to provide or contract for educational
17 instruction.
