    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to medical faculty certificates;
    3         amending s. 458.3145, F.S.; increasing the maximum
    4         number of medical faculty certificates issued to
    5         faculty at certain institutions; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9         
   10         Section 1. Subsection (4) of section 458.3145, Florida
   11  Statutes, is amended to read:
   12         458.3145 Medical faculty certificate.—
   13         (4) In any year, the maximum number of extended medical
   14  faculty certificateholders as provided in subsection (2) may not
   15  exceed 30 15 persons at each institution named in subparagraphs
   16  (1)(i)1.-6. and at the facility named in s. 1004.43 and may not
   17  exceed 10 5 persons at the institution named in subparagraph
   18  (1)(i)7.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
