       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Dean) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 153
    4  and insert:
    5  such request to the attorney for the department. The failure to
    6  provide notice to either a relative who requests it pursuant to
    7  this subsection or to a relative who is providing out-of-home
    8  care for a child shall not result in any previous action of the
    9  court at any stage or proceeding in dependency or termination of
   10  parental rights under any part of this chapter being set aside,
   11  reversed, modified, or in any way changed absent a finding by
   12  the court that a change is required in the child’s best
   13  interests.
