       The Committee on Commerce (Garcia) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 262 and 263
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (4) of section 607.1406, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         607.1406 Known claims against dissolved corporation.—
    8         (4) A dissolved corporation or successor entity electing to
    9  follow the procedures described in subsections (2) and (3) shall
   10  also give notice of the dissolution of the corporation to
   11  persons with known claims, that are contingent upon the
   12  occurrence or nonoccurrence of future events or otherwise
   13  conditional or unmatured, and request that such persons present
   14  such claims in accordance with the terms of such notice. Such
   15  notice shall be in substantially the same form, and sent in the
   16  same manner, as described in subsection (2).
