       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Siplin) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete line 123
    4  and insert:
    5         (8) A Class “G” applicant must satisfy the minimum training
    6  criteria as set forth in s. 493.6105(6) and, additionally, must
    7  satisfy the minimum qualifications set forth in s. 943.13,
    8  before being authorized to detain individuals as described in s.
    9  493.6305 and as established by rule of the department.
   10         Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
