    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to land reclamation; amending s.
    3         378.034, F.S.; deleting an obsolete provision relating
    4         to requests to the Department of Environmental
    5         Protection for approval of a reclamation program;
    6         providing an effective date.
    7         
    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9         
   10         Section 1. Subsection (12) of section 378.034, Florida
   11  Statutes, is amended to read:
   12         378.034 Submission of a reclamation program request;
   13  procedures.—
   14         (12) The department shall require by rule that owners of
   15  eligible properties who intend to seek approval of a reclamation
   16  program submit, not later than December 31, 1993, a notice of
   17  intent to file an application for approval, indicating the date
   18  upon which the application will be filed.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
