       The Committee on Commerce (Rich) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (146914) 
    2         
    3         Delete line 44
    4  and insert:
    5  system, or computer network to perform specified functions.
    6  "Computer software" means a sequence of instructions written in
    7  any programming language that is executed on a computer.
    8  "Computer software" does not include a data component of a web
    9  page that is not executable independently of the web page.
