       Senator Crist moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (143642) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 97 - 106
    4  and insert:
    5         (6) A sheriff, deputy sheriff, police officer, or state law
    6  enforcement officer, upon the seizure of any Indian cigarettes
    7  or Indian tobacco products in the possession of non-tribal
    8  members under this section, shall promptly report the seizure to
    9  the division or its representative, together with a description
   10  of all such cigarettes and tobacco products seized, so that the
   11  state may be kept informed as to the size and magnitude of the
   12  illicit cigarette business. The division shall keep records
   13  showing the number of seizures and seized cigarettes reported
   14  to, or seized by, the division.
