       The Committee on Military Affairs and Domestic Security
       (Oelrich) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 56 - 58
    4  and insert:
    5         (5) Any state or local agency complying with this section
    6  shall adopt written procedures governing how the inquiries and
    7  actions required by this section shall be performed. Any such
    8  procedures shall be in compliance with federal immigration law,
    9  policies, or procedures as applied to the agency actions.
