       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Richter) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 217 - 225
    4  and insert:
    5  for under the terms of the reimbursement contract. The optional
    6  coverage retention as specified shall be accessed before the
    7  mandatory coverage under the reimbursement contract, but once
    8  the limit of coverage selected under this option is exhausted,
    9  the insurer’s retention under the mandatory coverage will apply.
   10  This coverage will apply and be paid concurrently with mandatory
