4 | Between lines 442 and 443, insert: |
5 | Section 4. Paragraph (h) of subsection (2) of section |
6 | 379.353, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: |
7 | 379.353 Recreational licenses and permits; exemptions from |
8 | fees and requirements.-- |
9 | (2) A hunting, freshwater fishing, or saltwater fishing |
10 | license or permit is not required for: |
11 | (h) Any resident saltwater fishing from land or from a |
12 | structure fixed to the land, or any person who has been |
13 | determined eligible for the food stamp, temporary cash |
14 | assistance, or Medicaid programs by the Department of Children |
15 | and Family Services. A benefit issuance or program |
16 | identification card issued by the Department of Children and |
17 | Family Services or the Agency for Health Care Administration |
18 | shall serve as proof of program eligibility. The individual must |
19 | have the benefit issuance or program identification card and |
20 | positive proof of identification in her or his possession when |
21 | fishing. |
