The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
(Lawson) recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (359802) (with title

4 Between lines 1649 and 1650
5 insert:
6 Section 21. Paragraph (v) is added to subsection (24) of
7 section 380.06, Florida Statutes, to read:
8 380.06 Developments of regional impact.—
9 (24) STATUTORY EXEMPTIONS.—
10 (v) Any non-residential development within a catalyst site
11 as defined in s. 288.0656(2)(b) or a catalyst site submitted to
12 Enterprise Florida, if the Office of Tourism, Trade, and
13 Economic Development states in writing that the project supports
14 a regional target industry that is identified in an economic
15 development plan prepared for one of the economic development
16 programs identified in s. 288.0656(7) is exempt from the
17 provisions of this section.

19 If a use is exempt from review as a development of regional
20 impact under paragraphs (a)-(t), but will be part of a larger
21 project that is subject to review as a development of regional
22 impact, the impact of the exempt use must be included in the
23 review of the larger project.

28 Delete line 1771
29 and insert:
30 reporting requirement; amending s. 380.06, F.S.; providing an
31 exemption from the development of regional impact program for
32 certain projects supporting a targeted industry within a rural
33 catalyst site; providing an effective date.
