       The Committee on Judiciary (Joyner) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete lines 112 - 126
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 4. Section 250.905, Florida Statutes, is created to
    6  read:
    7         250.905 Penalty.— In addition to any other relief or
    8  penalty provided by state or federal law, a person is liable for
    9  a civil penalty of no more than $1,000 per violation if that
   10  person violates any provision of this chapter affording
   11  protections to members of the United States Armed Forces, the
   12  United States Reserve Forces, or the National Guard or any
   13  provision of federal law affording protections to such
   14  servicemembers over which a state court has concurrent
   15  jurisdiction under s. 250.82.
