       The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Detert)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 120 - 124
    4  and insert:
    5  appropriate. If, upon findings from the needs assessment, the
    6  child is found to be in need of mental health services and/or
    7  substance abuse treatment services, the department shall
    8  cooperate with the parent or legal guardian and the Department
    9  of Children and Family Services, as appropriate, to identify the
   10  most appropriate services and supports and available funding
   11  sources to meet the needs of the child.
