Paragraph (uuu)is added to subsection (4) of 6 section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read: 7 320.08056 Specialty license plates.— 8 (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall be 9 collected for the appropriate specialty license plates: 10 (uuu) Children First license plate, $25. 11 Section 4. Subsection (73) is added to section 320.08058, 12 Florida Statutes, to read: 13 320.08058 Specialty license plates.— 14 (73) CHILDREN FIRST LICENSE PLATES.— 15 (a) The department shall develop a Children First license 16 plate as provided in this section. The plate must bear the 17 colors and design approved by the department. The word “Florida” 18 must appear at the top of the plate and the words “Children 19 First” must appear at the bottom of the plate. 20 (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed to Children 21 First Florida, Inc., which shall retain all proceeds until the 22 startup costs to develop and establish the plates have been 23 recovered. Thereafter, the proceeds shall be used as follows: 24 1. A maximum of 15 percent of the proceeds may be used to 25 administer the license plate program and for direct 26 administrative costs associated with the operations of Children 27 First Florida, Inc. 28 2. A maximum of 10 percent of the proceeds may be used to 29 promote and market the license plates. 30 3.
