       Senator Oelrich moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 13 and 14
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 320.08053, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended, and subsection (3) is added to that
    7  section, to read:
    8         320.08053 Requirements for requests to establish specialty
    9  license plates.—
   10         (2) The organization must submit the proposed art design
   11  for the specialty license plate to the Legislature, in a medium
   12  prescribed by the department no later than 30 days before the
   13  first day of the regular legislative session. If the specialty
   14  license plate requested by the organization is approved by law,
   15  the organization must submit the proposed art design for the
   16  specialty license plate to the department, in a medium
   17  prescribed by the department, as soon as practicable, but no
   18  later than 60 days after the act approving the specialty license
   19  plate becomes a law. If the specialty license plate requested by
   20  the organization is not approved by the Legislature, the
   21  application fee shall be refunded to the requesting
   22  organization.
   23         (3) The Legislature may approve a maximum of 350 specialty
   24  license plates in this state.

   29  and insert:
   30         An act relating to license plates; amending s.
   31         320.08053, F.S.; requiring an organization that seeks
   32         a specialty license plate to submit an art design of
   33         the plate to the Legislature; providing a maximum
   34         number of specialty license plates in this state;
   35         amending ss.
