Subsection (1) of section 409.91195, Florida 6 Statutes, is amended to read: 7 409.91195 Medicaid Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics 8 Committee.—There is created a Medicaid Pharmaceutical and 9 Therapeutics Committee within the agency for the purpose of 10 developing a Medicaid preferred drug list. 11 (1) The committee shall be composed of 11 members appointed 12 by the Governor. Four members shall be physicians, licensed 13 under chapter 458; one member licensed under chapter 459; five 14 members shall be pharmacists licensed under chapter 465; and one 15 member shall be a consumer representative who is enrolled in the 16 Medicaid program. The members shall be appointed to serve for 17 terms of 2 years from the date of their appointment. Members may 18 be appointed to more than one term. The agency shall serve as 19 staff for the committee and assist them with all ministerial 20 duties. The Governor shall ensure that at least some of the 21 members of the committee represent Medicaid participating 22 physicians and pharmacies serving all segments and diversity of 23 the Medicaid population, and have experience in either 24 developing or practicing under a preferred drug list. At least 25 one of the members shall represent the interests of 26 pharmaceutical manufacturers. 27 28 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 29 And the title is amended as follows: 30 Delete lines 2 - 4 31 and insert: 32 An act relating to Medicaid; amending s. 409.91195, 33 F.S.; revising the membership of the Medicaid 34 Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee within the 35 Agency for Health Care Administration to include a 36 member who is enrolled in the Medicaid program; 37 amending s. 409.912, F.S.; requiring that funds repaid 38 to the agency by managed care plans that
