    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to non-ad valorem assessments for
    3         purposes of hurricane mitigation; expressing the
    4         legislative intent to revise laws relating to non-ad
    5         valorem assessments for purposes of hurricane
    6         mitigation; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. The Legislature intends to revise laws relating
   11  to non-ad valorem assessments for purposes of hurricane
   12  mitigation.
   13         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
