| 7 | 458.3312 Specialties.--A physician licensed under this |
| 8 | chapter may not hold himself or herself out as a board-certified |
| 9 | specialist unless the physician has received formal recognition |
| 10 | as a specialist from a specialty board of the American Board of |
| 11 | Medical Specialties or other recognizing agency approved by the |
| 12 | Board of Medicine, subject to triennial review and |
| 13 | reauthorization of such approval by the Board of Medicine. |
| 14 | However, a physician may indicate the services offered and may |
| 15 | state that his or her practice is limited to one or more types |
| 16 | of services when this accurately reflects the scope of practice |
| 17 | of the physician. |
