       The Committee on Communications, Energy, and Public Utilities
       (Haridopolos) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (701772) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 270 - 274
    4  and insert:
    5  tariff. The price increase for any nonbasic service category
    6  shall not exceed 6 percent within a 12-month period until there
    7  is another provider providing local telecommunications service
    8  in an exchange area at which time the price for any nonbasic
    9  service category may be increased in an amount not to exceed 20
