       Senator Haridopolos moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 61 - 71
    4  and insert:
    5         to s. 287.055; and
    6         (b) Agree to follow the advertising and competitive bidding
    7  procedures that the department is required to follow if the
    8  department is managing the construction project directly.
    9         (3) The department’s authority under subsection (2)
   10  includes entering into a continuing contract for construction
   11  projects in which the estimated construction cost of each
   12  individual project under the contract does not exceed $2
   13  million.
