       The Committee on Military Affairs and Domestic Security
       (Aronberg) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (572878) (with title
    2  amendment)

    5         Between lines 862 and 863
    6  insert:
    7         Section 11. The Department of Law Enforcement may create a
    8  pilot project of at least three seaports to perform the tasks
    9  required in subsections (6) and (7) of s. 311.12, Florida
   10  Statutes, as amended by this act. Equipment purchased by the
   11  state to implement the Florida Uniform Port Access Control
   12  system is transferred from the Department of Highway Safety and
   13  Motor Vehicles to the Department of Law Enforcement for use in
   14  the pilot project and to assist other seaports with compliance.

   17         And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 930
   19  and insert:
   20         be presented to the Legislature by a certain date;
   21         authorizing the Department of Law Enforcement to
   22         create a pilot project to implement the seaport
   23         employee access system; transferring certain equipment
   24         from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor
   25         Vehicles to the Department of Law Enforcement for use
   26         in the project;
