       The Committee on General Government Appropriations (Dean)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1394 and 1395
    4  insert:
    5         Section 25. In order to protect the natural system of
    6  Florida’s springs, which are acquired in public-ownership for
    7  conservation of both land and water-related resources as
    8  provided in chapters 187 and 259, Florida Statutes, the issuance
    9  of permits for the source of natural-spring water for food
   10  products and the transfer of natural-spring water in bulk or
   11  bottled across state boundaries as provided in chapter 500,
   12  Florida Statutes, is prohibited if such permit is for the
   13  private gain of a natural-spring water bottled water plant
   14  operation.

   17         And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 112
   19  and insert:
   20         date; prohibiting the issuance of permits for the
   21         source of natural-spring water for food products and
   22         the transfer of natural-spring water in bulk or
   23         bottled across state boundaries for private gain to
   24         protect the state’s springs; providing effective
   25         dates.
