       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 29 - 33
    4  and insert:
    5  observation to a primary care physician, excluding obstetricians
    6  and gynecologists licensed in this state. The physician shall
    7  immediately refer the minor to an appropriate specialist for
    8  screening for autism spectrum disorder if the referral is
    9  clinically indicated after examination and initial screening.
   10  This section does not apply to a physician providing care under
   11  s. 395.1041.
