       The Policy and Steering Committee on Ways and Means (Fasano)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (404522) 
    2  
    3         Delete line 83
    4  and insert:
    5  planning agency. If a local government adopted a capital
    6  improvements element pursuant to this subsection before December
    7  1, 2008, which the state land planning agency has found to be in
    8  compliance, the deadline to transmit annual updates and any
    9  updates required in connection with a long-term transportation
   10  concurrency management system, if applicable, is extended to
   11  December 1, 2011. The next annual update may also extend the
   12  adopted planning period by an additional 3 years.
