       The Committee on Community Affairs (Bennett) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 469 and 470
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. Paragraph (e) is added to subsection (3) of
    6  section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         163.3184 Process for adoption of comprehensive plan or plan
    8  amendment.—
    9         (3) LOCAL GOVERNMENT TRANSMITTAL OF PROPOSED PLAN OR
   10  AMENDMENT.—
   11         (e)  At the request of an applicant, a local government
   12  shall consider an application for zoning changes that would be
   13  required to properly enact the provisions of any proposed plan
   14  amendment transmitted pursuant to this subsection. Zoning
   15  changes approved by the local government are contingent upon the
   16  state land planning agency issuing a notice of intent to find
   17  that the comprehensive plan or plan amendment transmitted is in
   18  compliance with this act.

   25  and plan amendment changes;
