       Senator Crist moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 408 and 409
    4  insert:
    5         Section 10. Paragraph (d) is added to subsection (1) of
    6  section 939.185, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         939.185 Assessment of additional court costs and
    8  surcharges.—
    9         (1)
   10         (d) The clerk of court shall cause a certified copy of the
   11  court order imposing such costs to be recorded in the public
   12  records. Such record shall constitute a lien against the person
   13  upon whom the costs are imposed and shall attach as a lien on
   14  any real and personal property owned by such person. A lien
   15  created under this paragraph does not attach to, or make subject
   16  to execution of levy or foreclosure, any real or personal
   17  property otherwise exempt under s. 4, Art. X of the State
   18  Constitution. A lien created under this paragraph is enforceable
   19  in the same manner as provided by law.

   23         Delete line 50
   24  and insert:
   25         act; amending s. 939.185, F.S.; revising provisions
   26         relating to assessment of additional court costs and
   27         surcharges; providing an effective date.
