| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |

| 10 | Section 1. Any health insurance policy or medical service |
| 11 | contract that provides medical and surgical benefits with |
| 12 | respect to the treatment of cancer and other conditions by means |
| 13 | of chemotherapy or radiation therapy shall include coverage for |
| 14 | wigs or other scalp prostheses. |
| 15 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009. |
