| 6 | Statutes, is amended to read: |
| 7 | 465.0276 Dispensing practitioner.-- |
| 8 | (1)(a) A person may not dispense medicinal drugs unless |
| 9 | licensed as a pharmacist or otherwise authorized under this |
| 10 | chapter to do so, except that a practitioner authorized by law |
| 11 | to prescribe drugs may dispense such drugs to her or his |
| 12 | patients in the regular course of her or his practice in |
| 13 | compliance with this section. |
| 14 | (b) A practitioner registered under this section may |
| 15 | dispense no more than a 72-hour supply of a controlled substance |
| 16 | listed in Schedule II, Schedule III, or Schedule IV as provided |
| 17 | in s. 893.03. This paragraph does not apply to controlled |
| 18 | substances dispensed in the health care system of the Department |
| 19 | of Corrections. |
