| 5 | applicant to do business under a fictitious name |
| 6 | advertise the intention to register such fictitious |
| 7 | name in a newspaper in the county in which the |
| 8 | principal place of business will be located; providing |
| 9 | an effective date. |

| 11 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

| 13 | Section 1. Subsection (6) of section 15.16, Florida |
| 14 | Statutes, is repealed. |
| 15 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009. |
