       Senator Lawson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 99 and 100
    4  insert:
    5         Section 3.  Ronshay Dugans Act - The first week of 
    6  September is designated as “Drowsy Driving Prevention Week” in
    7  this state. During Drowsy Driving Prevention Week, the
    8  Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and the
    9  Department of Transportation are encouraged to educate the law
   10  enforcement community and the public about the relationship
   11  between fatigue and performance and the research showing fatigue
   12  to be as much of an impairment as alcohol and as dangerous
   13  behind the wheel. This section may be cited as the “Ronshay
   14  Dugans Act.”

   18         Between lines 18 and 19
   19  insert:
   20  creating the Ronshay Dugans Act; designating the first week in
   21  September as "Drowsy Driving Prevention Week";
